Natural Affairs is a collection of paintings and writings inspired by the natural beauty of Cape Cod –

a personal narrative and artistic interpretation of the environmental, spiritual and historical aspects found in
nature. The work will reference the artist’s major influences in art and living, incorporating his writings with
images from the artist’s body of land and seascapes.

The first of these essays were presented at a gallery reading Sunday, August 3, 2008.

At that initial reading, Fleury shared his first two essays, The Hollows and Kronos vs. Kairos.

More readings, accompanied by new works, were presented through the summer of 2009

at Addison Art Gallery.
